Doctors don’t even know.

I have been taking kratom for a few years know I have many muscle pain issues, bipolar, and I work a physical job. I basically couldn’t do my job without it. I have gone too many doctors taking all the pills they have prescribed without any real success. I take kratom and it helps me get through my day physically and mentally. I never really told my doctor’s about it because of all the stuff I read about it and it getting banned. But lately every appointment I have I tell them I take it an 90 percent of them have never heard of it and I explain it to them and even encourage them to research it. So far they are fine with it even working certain medications they prescribe to be to not cause reactions to it and are encouraging me as long as I am not showing signs of dependency. I just think that half the stuff we are reading is bull because the medical profession barely knows about it.

Knowledge is extremely valuable, and though my doctor is a professional, I don’t expect him to know everything health related.  Hell, I feel like I learn a lot every day, even at a job I’ve been at for nearly 20 years.  So I try to be as patient as possible.  I enjoy talking to them about it and allowing them to research and find out more.  The more you share, the more perhaps they’ll learn and help other folks in the same situation as yourself.
